Chicago’s Collapse Has Begun

Chicago is technically bankrupt. Its expenditures have exceeded its receipts for about ten years. All big rust belt cities in the Midwest, East, and Northeast have been losing population since 1950.

Chicago’s population has fallen to below where it was in 1920. And the number of white people living in the city has declined to below where it was in 1890

While the wealthiest, those who own businesses, are leaving, the only population growing is Hispanic, and they have a startlingly low education level. The areas of Chicago that are Hispanic are also the areas that have the highest number of households occupied by people with an eighth grade education or less.

Chicago has tried to keep its dying city budget alive with skyrocketing taxes on cigarettes, gasoline, cable TV, phone bills, alcoholic beverages, city stickers, parking. etc When the Cook County Board raised the county sales tax by one percent and announced that 90% of that raise would go only to the pensions of the patronage workers. So even visitors to the city have to support pensioners in Arizona or Florida.

Chicago has not made the map yet but when and if it does it will certainly help the Midwest maintain its relative supremacy over national municipal mismanagement.

P.S. Won't surprise me if the entire state of Kansas bites the bankruptcy dust one of these days.

August most violent month in Chicago in nearly 20 years

In the weeks since he was shot in the back, 10-year-old Tavon Tanner has undergone several operations to repair the damage from the bullet that tore through his small body and remains lodged between his shoulder and his chest.

In 2016 Chicago, Only 4% of Attempted Murderers Have Been Arrested

In the police district that covers Austin, on the city’s west side, murders have increased 150%, and the district has seen more than 200 shootings.

The rising violence comes as Chicago’s police department is under investigation by the justice department for potential civil rights violations, with a focus on whether there are racial disparities in the department’s use of force.

“We need it,” Rahm Emanuel, the city’s mayor, said last year in response to the announcement of the justice department’s investigation.

Illinois loses more residents than any other state...

Common reasons included high taxes, the state budget stalemate, crime, the unemployment rate and the weather.

More than any other city, Chicago has depended on Mexican immigrants to balance the sluggish growth of its native-born population.

States in the South and West have better job opportunities and more affordable housing. Texas, in fact, attracts the greatest number of Illinois residents

Chicago's Blacks Turn against Mayor Rahm

More than 1,600 people have been shot in Chicago this year, including three children who were recently wounded while playing basketball. Residents said after the shooting that the situation is so bad, children are being kept indoors for their safety.

Much of Chicago’s violence stems from gang bangers, particularly those imported from south of the border, and from the steady supply of illegal drugs that are a consequence of the open borders and sanctuary city policies Rahm Emanuel supports. It is called “gun violence” when it is in fact gang violence, fueled by drug trafficking.

Cook County Board (Chicago) Votes to Dismantle Gang Database Because Terms "Gang Membership" and "Gang Association" Are Racist

Officials in the Democratic stronghold of Chicago’s Cook County, Illinois voted on Thursday to completely dismantle their database of more than 25,000 known or suspected gang members, according to the Chicago Sun Times.   http://www.unz.com/s...cist-to-blacks/

Yes, Chicago is corrupt and bigoted, now go back to sleep.    https://www.american...d_politics.html

Cook County state's attorney Kim Foxx inadvertently gave away the game — what's really behind the bizarre dropping of charges and sealing of court records of the slam-dunk case put together by Chicago police on Jussie Smollett's fake hate crime report

Foxx let Jussie Smollett walk away from the felonies he was facing for the bargain price of ten grand and a few hours helping out Jesse Jackson's operation because she was talked into the notion that it was critical that the narrative be changed.  The narrative of a fake hate crime threatens the key strategy of the Democrats, standing up for the victims against the oppressors — whites, males, Republicans, and the rich (except for rich actors and other "woke" donors to the Democrats).

Jussie and his lawyers immediately started constructing their own narrative that Jussie was in fact the victim, and he might even sue the Chicago police.  An absurd whiteface narrative — that the two Nigerian brothers caught on a surveillance camera buying the supplies for the attack were the real perps who fooled Jussie into believing they were white MAGA-supporters — was soon on offer.

Of course, it is ludicrous, but people who are in the fantasy business believe they are able to sell imaginary stories, and the ones who are stars reap big rewards for the success in doing so.

The president singled out four cities — Chicago, Baltimore, Los Angles, and San Francisco.

572 people were murdered in Chicago in 2018 and the homicide rate in Baltimore was higher than El Salvador, Honduras, or Guatemala.

“The conditions in the once-great city of San Francisco are deplorable,”

half of the homeless people in America live in California,

look at Los Angeles with the tents and the horrible, horrible disgusting conditions.”

despite the billions of dollars spent by the federal government to help improve the cities, most of it ended up wasted    https://www.breitbar...ngeles-chicago/

EXCLUSIVE: Where HAS all the money gone? The truth is Baltimore can't account for millions while poverty is rampant and drugs, danger and yes, rats lurk around every corner of the 7th District, a DailyMail.com investigation reveals

President Trump prompted outrage when he described Congressman Elijah Cummings Baltimore 7th District as a, 'disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess'

The president demanded to know where the $16 billion of Federal funding given to the city had gone

The city itself cannot account for the millions that have poured into its coffers, according to Baltimore's most recent audit analyzed by DailyMail.com  https://www.dailymai...urk-corner.html
