Silver has now reached critical mass, either this last decline to a new low near 14.50 ends a large and deep correction "NOW" (I favor this) or we see a melt down to new lows below the Nov bottom at 13.89. Show and tell time

Senor

gotta wonder if GSR is now in an ending daily/weekly blowoff spike

Senor:

I use the Renko Chart of GSR to take out the squiggles and I agree with you on the "blowoff spike" - I see divergences on both MACD and RSI here as well, FWIW

Thx, this could be something like a mirror image of the 2011 GSR spike bottom when silver went to the high 40's, trying to identify an exact blowoff top or spike bottom is impossible but it does usually indicate exhaustion is close and when one looks at charts of PAAS/CDE/FSM and others this has been a crash from the Feb highs, CDE has declined from about 5.73 to the 3 area, FSM from 4.18 to 2.50 PAAS from 15.24 to 10.7 all this with silver so far holding above last years lows, I'd say "capitulation" has occurred but who knows - more to come or just about done?

This is the kind of news I like to see:

"VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 17, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. (FSM) (FVI.TO) reports that Jorge A. Ganoza, Chief Executive Officer of the Company, has increased his equity position in the Company by acquiring 170,000 common shares on the open market at an average price of US$2.59 per share."

Gotta say this end of day action is sorta nice, for a session that looked potentially disastrous early on its rather different right now, nothing decided at all but a decent day and one we needed to see for a possible impt bottom

cots http://news.goldseek.../1558121436.php   fwiw these cots are not encouraging. the sharks matched the enthusiasm of the bait .the bait went long 40k in gold while the sharks went short 40k in gold.  the sharks are lopsided short the dollar and have been positioned that way for quite some time, and the dollar remains firm.

as for the action in the gold market, the miners made lower lows today, and are putting in a hammer bottom=a good sign. the miners have rsi divergences on a daily chart and hourly chart=encouraging sign. and so far gold is holding 1270  we are seasonally in the time band for a bottom

An URGENT WARNING from Investing Advisory Legend Mr. James Dines: “Historic GOLD SPIKE Ahead!” Looming global events are creating an economic “Perfect Storm” — and for only the fourth time since 1896, Mr. Dines has discovered a proven indicator that points to a roaring bull market in gold. He’ll share that with you in a moment, for the first time ever!

Interesting chart Dharma,  I have a building signal on GLD for a high in mid August which is in rough agreement with captainEwave .
