In terms of the TRADE DEAL, the outcome this week will be BULLISH. They will settle for a few minor agreements on some issues and then say they will meet again; Trump will shelve the tariffs but threaten to implement them if no further progress.

Above does not necessarily mean the markets will be bullish but there is a higher probability it will be.

If something bearish comes up, then look for SPX 2800 by Friday.

But it appears as if there is a ST bottom in place, for now

I have found that just because something seems obvious and probable does not necessarily mean it will happen.

Trump is getting close to the point that kicking the can down the road wont be seen as a win for him anymore - everyone now can see right threw it

Either that or looking at 2650 quick. Probably going to take it up to 3k though, just that the downside is substantial.

Taking drawdowns trying to manage long term longs, hedged up either way. 2650 and my account will be about the same,

3k and higher.

Is there any added value to daytrading by monitoring the TICK?

I use to look at it but rarely did I decide to buy or sell based on its value
