Friday's equity put/call ratio 81%, highest since late December
Is the pattern in the Utes the same as it was late last year?

I SPY a potental head and shoulders bottom
Ralph may need a new high to reconfirm bullish trend but this hourly $SPX chart sez a close above 2892.15 would do the job. #CyclicalBullMarket

Chinese unofficial official Tweeters are ramping it up....examples:
US long-term strategic capability over launching wars is overestimated while its national belligerence is underestimated.
#环球时报Editorial: China’s counterattacks against the US #trad war are of global significance. http://bit.ly/2WbuWCp
Shangganling, and other old films about Korean War are rerun in China's TV stations. Chinese troops' win in the 1952 Battle of Shangganling boosted China's position in negotiations with the US. Enlightenment from this film to Chinese:there's no equal negotiation without fighting.
Australian election result will continue current poor relations w/China. Canberra took the lead among Western countries to boycott Huawei, plus a series of anti-China decisions, making Chinese believe Australia is the most radical Western country in helping the US suppress China.
Huawei is leader in 5G technology and has long prepared for a back-up plan. US sanctions on Huawei may incur more losses to US companies than to Huawei. US Commerce Department's decision to issue a temporary general license that lasts 90 days proved this.
Trump delays EU, Japan auto tariffs for 6 months since there's little chance of reaching a China-US trade deal in 6 months. The two sides have serious differences with worsening political atmosphere. Negotiation terms have been laid bare to the public, making compromise difficult

I assume most - if not all - realize I utilize sarcasm and irony in many of my posts.

Don't want to but will try to lighten my heavy QQQ PUT portfolio.
Trying to be realistic: I may not get a repeat of last year's huge down moves so better to trim and take profits, even a few $ or even break-even, and wait for higher QQQ prices to re-arm.

Market looks bearish, so far today. If it can't rally to Friday's SPX close then it can fall fast and far below....
However, if it can regain Friday's SPX daily close then it may attract more dip buyers & newbie $$

Time to sell into bounces. If it bounces to Friday's high it's a gift for shorts.
