Yes, she's right.

What a fine instructional video. In community organizing, She's cautioning to not be "colonial", to not try to impose your will on the local community. Instead, listen to the locals, learn what they want and help them to make what they want work. In this case, a community garden, which can great gathering place for neighbors to get to know each other, as well as being a productive, healthy, delicious food source (as anyone knows who's had a tomato grown in such a garden as opposed to one shipped in to a grocery store).

In my city there's a neighborhood with a great community garden where the realtors trumpet the garden as a selling point but do nothing to support the neighborhood's efforts to make it flourish. In that case, the realtors are obvious "colonials."

Here AOC is making sure that those who work to advance the "Green New Deal" understand it's to be done by respecting the neighborhoods they are dealing with. What a great organizer and leader she is.

Thanks for the video.

Here's another great video from her:

AOC repots a plant with help from her Instagram friends (watch the heart fly in).

This actually powerful stuff, politically speaking (and just plain fun besides). Her detractors evidently don't have the slightest idea what they are up against - she is an EVERY-WOMAN.

Here are some comments from viewers of the above AOC YouTube videos but many more are available at the video websites.

The house plant has more IQ points and critical thinking skills.

Ladies & gentlemen, this is what a real narcissist looks like. Someone who is so obsessed with themself that they think people want to watch a video of them doing something as mundane as making macaroni & cheese from a box or potting a plant.

Why plant anything? The world ends in 12 years. What a lunatic, and stupid too.

I don't know why I decided to watch this stupid video ... is this what some New Yorkers voted for??? Do they really want to be represented by women with the brains of a 6 years old?

She sounds like a random word generator.

She literally cannot string 2 sentences together without sounding like a BABBLING BUFFOON, can she?

Arguably the dumbest human being on the planet. Completely clueless.

She literally says nothing, and continuously!

I've never heard such nonsense in my life.

My IQ dropped 40 points after watching this video.

This adult child is so full of herself, it's pathetic.

What? Composting is hard to do in certain places because we don't have the pick up? Please young lady get an education. Composting does not require pick up. You rotate the organic matter and maybe use worms to aid the process then when it's all done it goes back into the soil as organic fertilizer. Recycling requires pick up. You are confusing the two.

So the wrong way to do things is for some self-announced authority to come into a community and "impose what you think is right." But isn't that what you're Maoist central planning style Green New Deal is all about?

You have to plant what will grow. Geography and climate aren't "colonialist".

She just claimed her family "lives off the land" in..... The Bronx.

Is this child on drugs, or is she this stupid?, and if it's the latter, why is she in the House?

She just tossed a big ole word salad. Lots of words but nothing said.
