I think you missed the joke.
a different language is a barrier obviously and I thought he was talking about his 666 call and about those who continually didn' t give credit to him. He always talks about that. It's an old joke. The whole point of being a comedian is to get people to laugh at you.
Ok thanks, I got it. Learning a language is not just learning a grammar, it's more like learning a whole world which is different to the one you are used to, jokes and adages included. Thanks.

Since this is about learning English, I may as well throw this in: the correct preposition for "different" is "from" not "to." "To" is (ironically, since it's their language) a common Britishism which is grammatically incorrect.
