I'm always thinking for shorter term trades not that far out.
That's like you driving to a destination without checking the road conditions first.
Everyone, of every trading time scale, should have a watchful eye on the direction of each asset class in order to know whether a detour is necessary or not.

Always the comments, duh about driving however I've been doing this for over 35 years so I know and play both sides, but since this site is called "traders talk" I think its about trading not buying and holding for months on end.
