Alexnewbee, my data set doesn't go back that far, so thanks for the history lesson. Funny, no. Frightening, yes. For that ratio to tap either of those two bottom channel lines, either the DJIA has to collapse or gold has to soar, neither of which is good. Hopefully it just lies there like a lox and doesn't cause any trouble.
