I remember looking at the NYA advance decline data on StockCharts......and I decided it was easier to use the SP500 advance decline data. And probably more reliable compared to the1000s of stocks in the NYA. Keep me away from the small stocks. Im actually trading an even a smaller universe with the NDX 100.

Shorts need  to be careful here with A/D positive, could be new highs next week.

 

I'll wait and buy strength closing above the 10dma.

I believe successful trading requires rules to trade by, not being in the market all the time.

Hourly signals look good here, but daily is under 10dma, I'm not going to try to be a hero here.

 

Up +19 for the week, can't be giving gains back. Goal is 50 points per week, 200 points per month.

Nice, thats always my goal also.  As volatility picks up in the next few months it should be pretty easy along with the SP being so high now.

Top picking made a lot of sense in hindsight on the divergences a couple days ago, but I just can't go long in this volatility

whether it's a low or not, too easy to lose, take back 3375 and I will think about it. The Coronavirus has hurt commerce

and earnings, not sure that is fully priced in yet.
