Most of the breakdowns I have seen do not include it.

I wonder how many of those listed with no comorbidities and died were smokers with no apparent lung damage yet.

Interesting tweet thread:

"But, when we looked at smoking, we saw a consistent, dose-dependent up-regulation of ACE2 in the lungs of human smokers and mice exposed to smoke."

So if you are still smoking, now would be a very good time to quit.

Apparently ACE 2 expression does drop significantly after you do.

$PM is a buy and it’s a great stock to keep scaling into on the S&P’s way down to 2000-level.  International markets are full of smokers and it’s not going to stop.

I've never been a smoker but twice in two years we've traveled to Europe and everywhere, as far as the eyes can see are smokers.  Young, old, you name it.

Read some interesting stuff last night.

Said the the real culprit in this disease was the virus deactivating Iron in the blood cells preventing normal O2/CO2 transactions from taking place.

https://chemrxiv.org...phyrin/11938173

This would likely imply that Hydroxy would only be effective if administered fairly early in the cycle to prevent viral replication before too many blood cells were trashed.

Once to a certain point, seems like only fresh blood transfusions, ideally pre-treated with Hydroxy would have a chance of working.

In any event, it seems like a good idea to have your intracellualr zinc levels as high as possible before you get this to have best chance of survival, if you are otherwise compromised.

Thus far, very few "healthy people suffering severe consequences.

And I bet if you added in smoking to pre-existing conditions, the "healthy" affected number would drop even more.

Take your vitamin D3 and zinc.

Quit smoking if you do.

Get some sun. Eat right. Avoid sugar.

Stick around. :)

Smoking will weaken lung function.

Most fatality happens to the people with underlying illness

renal disease (almost 28%)

cardiovascular disease,

diabetes,

immunocompromised condition,

lung disease. (15%)

I had been smoking in my 20s, more than 4 decades ago, but I still can feel the effect now, I am the first to know oxygen deficiency in the bedroom, lol.
