How are you going to open up NYS ? how about other hard hit areas?  TMMMMBERRRRRR!. (JMHO)

88% of deaths are people who had 1 foot in the grave and other on covid-19.

How many HEALTHY people under 60 have died? That is the critical stats.

Because that is 95% of work force.

Opening up country should not entail every one runs around a muck.

Vulnerable people will need to isolate and shelter properly.

??? I am talking about the economy. The longer it takes to open it up the more solvency becomes the primary issue. Listen to me , you want to hear critical stats, many of the people I know in the financial district are off until September, one of NYC's larger law firm's has furloughed people until JANUARY. The corona deaths are a terrible thing, but the financial carnage is right around the corner. I started accumulating short this morning, I thnk things will be ugly by Memorial Day. (JMHO)

People are just being stupid at this point.

They should be out mingling and building up their immune systems during the summer months, otherwise they are going to come into fall season with immune systems totally unprepared for cold and flu season, let alone any Covid remnant.

I don't think you are analyzing the numbers correctly.

People can be in ICU for days to weeks and still die.  So the people in that 100# were infected weeks ago.

You need to watch daily hospital admittance for the trend.

NY hospitalizations are dropping rapidly...already back down to March levels. Another couple of weeks and they will be very low.

By the way 330K out of 1.1M tested as positive is an astonishing percentage.

NY well on way to herd immunity....any 2nd wave will be very muted there.
