Is there anyone here that can make a strong technical case for a full retest?

Dow daily update...

IF Dow closes at 24500 or better today, bears likely got problems....

I don't know if this is right, but NYSI on Friday 79.02 + NYMO today 75.62 = 154.64 current NYSI.

What I really want to know is if it is enough to move Sto. RSI back to 0.5 at least or not, to reverse the NYSI trend.

I don't think one day will be enough, have to wait and see.

NYMO finished at 18.6, up 42, and NYSI up to 98.6

If I put a 19,39,1 MACD on NYAD, I get a good representation of what NYMO will look like, but I don't have the actual number, just a MACD number to guess by. If I put a 19ema and 39ema on NYAD, the number difference between the two does not add up right to the actual NYMO close. So I tried 33ema and 19ema and it's close, 41, so 41 plus the previous day's NYMO and it adds up to about 18, which is what it was. I might be using wrong inputs, the website insists on 39 and 19, but did not work.

Probably because most report ratio adjusted values and you are estimating a raw value.  RA values provides a constant for the entire population because the total number of NYSE issues traded has varied over the last 100 years.  In the 1920's there were 400-500 NYSE listed stocks, and 90 SPX stocks.  By the 1970's there were over 1000 NYSE issues, and in the 1990s it has seemed to stay over 3000.

There just isn't any reason to buy until NYSI turns back up for more than a day.
