The guy with the ER centers also mentioned he was giving anyone who did have actual symptoms "a steroid", but did not mention the name. He did say that the patients said it helped a lot.
Probably using the same one.

Dexamethasone has been used successfully in well controlled trials in UK and has also been used in US, this has been known for a a while. Not surprising, as dexamethasone is an anti-inflamatory steroid.
