Comparing Apples and Oranges.
S Koreans are all one homogeneous race, and whole country speaks ONE language.
And Koreans are generally obedient people. There is no Korean Lives Matter movement there.
In USA I receive my mail in ballot instructions in more than a dozen languages.
USA has every human race represented. We are multi-cultural. S Korea is not.
Americans in general do not like to be told what to do, and they generally do not obey all gov't dictates.
And finally USA is whole lot of bigger in size and population than S Korea. If USA and S Korea declared all out war, S Korea will not last more than a few days at most.

all are valid points
but larger you have advantage - economy of scale -so much money and many experts in everything
our medical group in our country, was supposed to be the best in the world

All true except when a brand new virus arrives on the scene, the omnipotent American medical group has no advantage of expertise or experience or vaccines or medications. Because there are none. Only advantage we have is, as you said, is our size. We can manufacture and distribute vastly more test kits than Korea can.

Koreans are not as obese as Americans, that is a big factor in death rate as well.

They are also not as ignorant as Americans who can't discriminate between evidence and belief and think they know more than scientists about protocols for self-protection and protecting others.
