This is a tough market to figure out if it's going higher or not.

It looks a lot more like late 2018 than anything, at tis point, not

like June. NYSI just keeps dropping. I'm concerned this could just keep

dropping to 3000 or below before a real low is put in. Or this correction could

be an L recovery instead of more of a V and take another 2 weeks to reach 3500.

I need to sell puts and buy calls to pay for carrying hedges, but it is very risky at

this point.

I need to see a 4hr close above the recent trend line around 3400

to consider the lows in.

I'm never bullish or bearish I sell way out of the money options for an income base which in the end usually makes some great monthly gains.  Call profits this month $13 and done for the October cycle already along with profits just taken on 2800 puts that were sold for $10.00, just bought back for a $8.00 profit, 2700 puts $5.00 profits.  If the market sells off from here might sell some more puts but likely wait till expiration week....

Shorted the open.

I was going to sell close dated puts a couple times to offset the cost of the Nov. 331's I have been carrying for a month or more. I thought the market had put in a low, not anymore, I'm looking for below 3000 now.

I do a calculation at the end of every cycle for the upcoming cycle, gives me an average level of where the market wont get to up and down.  Only took two weeks for my sold options. to lose most of their premium.
