Always find it interesting that when a person has an opposite opinion they are called stupid.  I for one am totally against taking the vaccine but I don't call the people who do take it stupid.  I do think what is stupid is the fact that if you take it why are you worried if I take it or not,,, your not going to get sick because you took it anyhow so what does it matter if I do.  I just got over Corona with barely a symptom and I and my other 11 friends who also got it were barely affected.  I believe it's because were all in great shape.  One friend got a fever and quite sick likely because he is a bit obese and has other conditions.  Maybe a good idea for him to take it.  Nonetheless I think its rude calling people stupid because they have a different opinion, a better start may be,,,,, interesting, why do you feel that way, I'd maybe listen to your opinion then as we are supposed to be adults here!

Mr 12, as you have taken my ‘stupid’ people comment personally and out of context, let me please try and clarify.

Stupid people who don’t take vaccine = those at high risk or at risk of spreading Covid to others.

apologies if I did not make this point more clear.

I am  retired doc, I am not at risk, I will unlikely be taking the vaccine, unless I’m required to, eg, if i choose to travel abroad.( duh, during a global pandemic, No ta!)

so, does that make me stupid too?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I always find it interesting when some one takes a very  limited view from "small" number of personal facts, compared to scientific studies and facts.

Examples are Uncle who drank 5 bottles of whiskey, slept 1 hr a night, smoked all day and lived to be 105.

Another are 3 friends who waled across super highway every day for 3o years, never got hit.

Personal experience is of 1 or 2, is not scientific, many love to brag about beating the odds.

Many who got very sick or died were young or great shape.

Risk reward is important in trading but also in life!!!

Conventional wisdom, conspiracy theories and personal anecdotes....have been the norm with science and wisdom being tarred as ‘fake news’

The USA this past 4 years has sadly become the world epicentre of relying on conventional wisdom over wisdom.

my closest friend, a doctor, got Covid. He is fit, attends the gym daily, no pre existing conditions. He is now breath,Es on minimal exertion.

do I take note of this? Of course. But, I also read about the evidence behind the effects of Covid.

Covid is scary as sh*t. The end
