Hmmmm ya don't think its that, that's only 1 stock they're not going to sell an entire market to cover that, there's more going on. I'll be surprised if we do hold down here going into the weekend though!

That's the easiest way for the "smart money" to do because they have an edge on the overnight index futures market. That's why big moves are almost always initiated/primed in the overnight index futures market. So they are called the "smart money" .
But in the case of GME they lost their edge when so called "dumb money" relentlessly swarm onto a single stock....................
