The SPX continued downward today with the price dropping through the bottom channel UTL of the bearish flag formation going back to 11.06.20, in theory, unless this low is the completion of a running corrective fractal, the price could continue downward to the base of the flag mast, in the ~3250 range.
The caveat here is that the momentum indicator line has dropped down to its major UTL and just below the zero support level, so it also seems possible for a price bounce in this range.
At this juncture, there has been negative divergence of momentum versus price for 235-days at the price peak... it's possible for the price to push upward again to new ATHs, and while the negative divergence is long-in-the-tooth, the previous long stretch went for 308-days, from November of 2017, until October 2018, so it could happen... watching.
