Sorry Elon Musk: Jim Cramer ‘Remains Committed’ to Bitcoin

Dogecoin--originally started as a joke based on an internet meme--was taking off following tweets from Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Dogecoin skyrocketed at the end of last week--as much as 800% in one 24-hour period - as retail investors expanded their buying frenzy to digital currency. A Reddit group called SatoshiStreetBets had touted the gains in Dogecoin.

I am so engrained with buying and selling stocks and futures after 30 years.  I've only recently started to look at the whole crypto thing.  And that's as far as I've made it.  Still looking.  For now, I'm sticking with the old adage "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".  I do have to admit I am a bit of an Elon Musk fan.  I admire folks that put it all on the line for what they believe.  I've spent the last 30 years working for a guy who has consistently done that.  Unique and rare individuals.

I sort of stayed away because I figured the government would shut it down before it got too big, but now too much big money is in crypto for it to go away IMO, so I finally jumped in it.  Can't complain about the gains for sure, but also have to remember these things will pretty much fall off a cliff once the Fed starts easing... if it ever does.
