Per national news, passed 500,000 dead from COVID today.
My sympathies to all who lost loved ones.
My mother passed 1/31/2021 from COVID.
Went from hospital to rehab, and died about 12 days later.
Only weight 110 lbs and took no medicine her entire life.

So sad. My wife spent several days in ICU last November on a ventilator for a different problem.
At least I could be with her. She has recovered but still has lingering effects.
We finally have an appointment for our 1st China Flu shot tomorrow.
In January, I posted this photo of crosses representing all of the dead in our state from the China Flu.
Since then they have had to expand and add over 1,000 more.
How many more have died from other illnesses which were not treated out of fear of going to the doctor or fear of being isolated from family in the hospital?

This is a serious question for you dwnowhere1 or any one of the super knowledgeable people here...
How many of those 500,000 dead from COVID had received one of the two vaccines in use since December in USA, at least about a week before death? Reason for the one week period is that it takes at least that long to build immunity after inoculation.

I think the number of cases is falling for a couple reasons. #1 testing. The PCR was too sensitive and giving far too many false positives. #2 they're running out of people to test. #3 the days are getting longer and vitamin D levels are rising. #4 people are getting vaccinated, both with the covid vaccine and (like me) the MMR. #4 we're hitting something like functional herd immunity in any number of places.
We're done with this by April. We may get some spikes here and there from mutations, but I suspect that the various vaccines will be mostly effective on those, and that natural immunity from covid-19 will play mop up.

Covid precautions saved lives!
There has been only ONE death from the FLU this year.
Think how many lives we could save if we never saw another human!!!!!
