I just learned that our old friend Scott (MSS) passed away in January. Scott was a Fearless Forecaster with us back when Carl ran the board. Scott came with us when we migrated to the web in 2000 and became a moderator soon thereafter.

He was a fine technician, and a great moderator. Above all he was a generous friend. We miss him.

My condolences to Scott's family...a good friend, great chartist and colleague of the old school of technical analysis.

RIP Scott. Ah the "old days", I was introduced to technical analysis by that old board. Many are long gone now.

Perhaps the best from the past was Trader Nick. He was special in his way. Here are a few things I nabbed from him before his info was deleted (Wish I had saved more of his postings, he was always educating)

Sad to hear! RIP Scott. Like Terry a lot of his indicators will be used by traders for years. Prayers going up for Family.

A great guy in my book.

I still have some of his chart setups.

I labeled this one: Scott's 30 min Bull/Bear.

Definitely a big loss. Scott was a really nice person and had this way about him where he would find useful information every body else looked over. Great TA man. RIP!

I have missed not having Scott around to share his thoughts and charts the last few years. Like Rogerdodger, I still look at some of the charts I 'borrowed' from him. I remember for a while there were MSS pages full of charts that were, I think, posted on the Swing Trades board.

I'm sorry to learn of this.... Scott was a kind and gracious guy who took over the Swing Waves board, when I was going through a very challenging time personally, and welcomed me back when things settled down.  Rest In Peace, Mr. Scott!
