I don't know where I've been and when they changed the times from

 

Day Session:   8:30AM - 4:15PM CST

PreOpen Night Session:  4:30 PM  - 5:00PM CST

Closed for maintenance 5:00PM - 6:00PM CST

Night Session:  6:00PM - 8:30AM CST

 

Looking at trade times on CME site, Times are clear as MUD as far as I'm concerned.

 

Anyone like to make a stab at what the hours are now and when we made this change from above.

1)  In this regard they make a distinction between ClearPort and FX clearing whatever that is:

2)  At the top of the page they say this:

 

Trading hours are in U.S. Central Time unless otherwise stated.

For CME and CBT products submitted via CME ClearPort Clearing, the hours are:
Sunday 5:00 p.m. - Friday 5:45 p.m. CT with no reporting Monday - Thursday 5:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. CT

This indicates to me we are now only closing for 15 minutes during the day.

Whether they consider this the split point for the day and night session is unknown or whether

we even have day and night session anymore is ??

 

3)  In the table itself under S&P-GSCI Futures however the time reflected appear to be

different from the quote in #2.

They eliminated the 4:15 to 4:30 halt is all they did,
index options still close at 4:15, and futures halt
at 5pm until 6pm as usual.
