Well, I think ST there could be a few big spikes down but I note the VXX is not soaring as it should be, and VIX spiked up but then hardly moved up as the markets tanked.

Whew so much bearishness, I'll stick to what put premiums are telling me, don't think today is the day for a big push down...

3 of my 10 VXX PUTS (PUTS) are in the GREEN. Good to hear the great TOM hold a similar view:

VIX futures market is not believing in this supposed calamity. Spot VIX Index is at 23.59, but the Oct. 20, 2021 expiring contract is at 23.15.

Agree, but it is near the END of this massive NAT GAS RALLY and I will continue to short

Natgas futures prices zooming up, but curiously the big-money "commercial" traders are still net long as a group, as of last week's COT Report. We have seen such price spikes before, and the commercials get to neutral or short as they are ending. Message: It's not over yet.

The first tool, verbal intervention, isn't working anymore. The 2nd, putting pressure on retailers via , isn't either. Putting pressure on OPEC+ so far isn't working. So all what's left from the supply side is the SPR, and/or encouraging more domestic drilling | #OOTT

54% downside day. Very unusual reading for a >1% down day in the indexes [it's allegedly a positive]. We'll find out if it was actually significant in the next few days...

I'll see what happens overnight, average long is now 4308, might get out and go short overnight if we pop enough but we'll see, put premiums are a little to rich indicating a bit to much bearishness....
