Ivermectin was legalized a few days before cases started to plummet but Dr. Campbell also says that genetics could be a cause too, mutations. More research is needed on why this has happened in Japan. Japan has a comparable rate of vaccination as many western countries that still have higher levels of infection and or death.

Ya 70% of their population isn't obese simply said!!  LOL!!  On the CDC website it says 78.8% of all covid deaths in America were people with "inflated bmi's"!  Everyone in Japan is pretty thin....

That is not the correct interpretation,  they had a high number of infections in August .

Obviously, comparisons need to be direct to be useful, not cases vs. deaths.

You are missing the point, the number of covid-19 cases in Japan has plummeted.  This is huge news and needs to be studied.

I agree you with 100%, it's just that there are a lot of stats being thrown around and everybody needs to be careful that they're not confusing deaths with cases, or all-cause deaths with "Covid deaths" etc. Unfortunately, even if you're careful about that, some jurisdictions consider two jabs + 13 days "unvaccinated." I know for a fact they're fudging the stats in my locale because I know people with contacts in the hospital and the numbers published do not at all jibe with reality. It's all propaganda to further the narrative: jab=good. If you don't want it for whatever reason, no matter how legitimate and signed off by multiple doctors, you're a bad person and should be locked up in a mental institution or starved until dead. I'm not making this up.

Still that chart is dramatic and the whole world needs to study what is going on in Japan now.

It's not just Japan, Egypt has a very low jab rate, very low cases and other African countries that use Ivermectin prophylactically for parasites have very low cases as well. https://graphics.reu...ritories/egypt/

It won't be studied, because true science is irrelevant now, it's just about getting everybody jabbed, come h*ll or high water, regardless of how many bodies pile up. https://vernoncolema...ovid-jab-murder

The surge in cases (not deaths) in Aug, 2021 coincided with the Olympics in Japan that led to lower compliance of the population in observing protective measures. Groups were gathering in small bars and eateries during the Olympics. It also coincided with the rise of the Delta variant at the same time. Despite this, the death rate stayed very low. Citing only the case rate is misleading. The drop in cases coincided with the end of the Olympics an increased distribution of vaccines and greater compliance with observing protective measures, including such social expectations as people not talking when using mass transportation.

Japan has done lots of things well during the pandemic from which we can learn. They were very quick to use extensive contact tracing and containment measures very early, including quarantines, travel restrictions, distributing masks, and closing schools well before the U.S. Their population was using masks continuously at levels never achieved anywhere in the U.S., They still do. They have low BMIs and don't live on junk food.
