crash calling has become a sport in these latest years and clearly when markets are so stretched to the upside it's perfectly obvious that such a thing happens. But what is missing is a large topping pattern or in other words a large distribution at the top. I remember that I was able to identify the top in the dax in 2007 thanks to the recognition of that large inverse head and shoulder pattern that lasted for months and was clearly a fake that was put there as a bullish trap. Unfortunately I was so ignorant to believe it was announcing  just a mild correction and not a real crash. Later on I understood that a large topping pattern can' t be resolved with a  drop of a month or two. I was still lacking experience and I paid for that as I could have done a lot of money and I didn' t. On the other hand I had started trading just 7 years earlier and it was too soon to be navigated enough in order to take full advantage from the situation. It was however a turning point for me. Since then I began to trade seriously. In my opinion we are not at a top of any importance and we will take the whole 2022 to make new highs. But then it might be game over.

I remember that I entered short one or two trading days before the end of 2007 which was a surgical enter for the dax. Despite of that I was unable to take full advantage from such a perfect entry point. How many times I told imbecile to myself you can' t imagine. But it was a lesson and I learned it. The way for success is made of failures from which you have to learn.

looking at the dax now I see an accumulation pattern undeway, not a distribution one. To me the whole pattern will be resolved to the upside and it might even be that the surge gets to be parabolic marking the last leg of the bull. A parabolic surge invites the herd to enter long and the shorters to get short trying to catch the top that doesn' t come before they are butchered.

In other words I' m still in cheif' s field.........watch the sky
