ATH quite possible before next major decline.

"So, in the bigger picture, I think the market has a cap in the 4882-4960SPX region. And, I still think we should see a pullback down to the 4300-4485SPX region before we begin the next major rally I foresee to 5500SPX over the coming year or so."

Evening update: ES selling into that 4635-40 support as we speak and pausing here but no reaction for bulls. Fairly important bulls hold this zone otherwise we retest 4605-10, which has a good chance of failing opening up a very rough Tuesday/wednesday

Seasonality continues tracking to start 2022 in $SPX: Jan on avg sees a high early month (played out), then later month weakness

While I trade price *only*, if seasonality tracks from here: Its bearish until Jan 30 which starts a major early Feb rally (this happened last year) https://t.co/wYx2TH0y6V

Also gives plenty of time for the Fed to possibly get wishy washy about QE ending for their month end meeting.

Tech stocks sure don't like that 10-year bond getting up there so any lowering of the yield will help them be a buy but as I've said this is gonna be a sideways to slightly up market for awhile to go yet so I'm with d, great tradeable market...

We got the big down open.....

Bulls have no choice but to immediately stick save this right after the open now....

Anything else likely leads to disaster dead ahead...

AAPL could be a key one to watch here...

If it does not reverse back up, and instead takes out 170, could be a big warning sign....
