in any case we are at a confusing point.....the expectation of a bear market bottom in August-September might be completely wrong. Infact the weekly macd of spx and nasdaq are respectively at the low of the pandemic and

at an all time low. The only weekly macd above its pandemic low is that of the dow. It is possible that we are very close to the bear-bottom. Maybe the next correction in June might be just a pull back........early to say, but this

market might fool everybody who is too bearish

What happens after this decides to follow the market's lead - the bottom 90% are already well on their way to loading-up their credit cards.

if I look at the Dax, it looks like August-September might be good for the bear bottom........if I look at the Nasdaq and spx weekly macd, well they' re under my shoes' level. It's true that the macd might go as low as it wants to

go, because it's not an oscillator and no one can predict in times like these how low it could go. It might also rise and the two indexes might fall in order to create a bullish divergence marking the bottom for the

market.......surely not easy at this point.........

steadyquest, as a certified fool for symmetry I couldn't help tinkering with your Brent plot.  The version below appears to show potential for turns at the upcoming vertical purple lines on Wednesday June 8th and Monday June 27th.  With Europe about to boycott Russian oil, they're begging for those upper declining blue and red  trend lines to be broken.  Price demand destruction versus trade policy supply destruction, hard to know which will get to the post first.
