Added 7% of my trading capital to longs using 2 index funds. Now 25% long, 75% flat.

My plan is to add to longs every month in equal amounts until I reach 70% long in November.

Then  I join the sky watcher's group and just stay long for 1-3 years. No selling unless there is minimum 25% cap gains on long term tax basis. Since I will have about 8 trades by November, the one year minimum holding period applies to each individual trade separately. I always sell early soon after there is 25%+ profit in any trade. Baron Rothschild said he got rich by selling early. I am following his method for 3 decades and it has kept me out of big downturns.

Nope, what I have been saying is that 3500 will be reached in 2022.

My usual method of buying is to start monthly buying when market drops 20% from recent high.

I never buy longs in one lump some.  I dollar cost average buying over 6-7 months.

I've told people to do that for years, so weird up here how everyone dumps all their money into the market in one day when their retirement funds are due for tax reasons!!
