In all fairness, you need to be more specific: what are you looking at?

Friendly reminder that the Fed prefers to look at core inflation data.

Well looking at much of the medium term charts that I see we should at least be getting a two week bear rally..    This primarily includes contrarian indicators Rydex Ratio, 10-day Put/Call ratios, Amount of stocks below their 200-day and 50-day MA, bearishness of the average investor...  The rally we had last week was due to these indicators but it did not last long enough to negate these signals....

Inflation is primarily caused by production and supply chain imbalances that are working through the system...   Higher interest rates slows demand, but imbalances in the supply chain causes inflation...      Also interest rate increase have a 2.5 month delay on inflation prices and PPI data.  So any interest rate hike now won't be felt until after Christmas in the economy as a whole with regards to inflation, and not getting a loan.

All I know for sure is perma-bulls lost opportunity to short SPX at 4800.

Only for entertainment purposes, when I am neither buying or selling on a particular day.
