Just kidding, kinda. still short. hold to close out them out with the VIX so low. It almost got under 20. I'll be at the hospital friday.
My last post until I'm sure my trades are going to make me look good.

I am long TLT from about 103.05 and collecting 4.5% dividends. it's about 8% of my accounts. If the US govt does default, TLT could rally 50% fairly easily from here

Thanks Brad. I've heard of Peter but I have no idea how good he is.

Gold stocks seem to lead the market. Look at when they bottomed in Sept. the SPX didn't bottom until Oct 10. Now today the stock market is rebounding while gold stocks are weak even with the price of Gold up. no guarantees but it looks like a divergence with the market today. We haven't hit the close yet so anything can happen but GDXJ is down 1.6% with the market and Gold up. just normal profit taking correction? what do u guys say.

Well, despite the rally, the VIX was UP 2.48%, which may be a Bearish tell for tomorrow.

Eliades is correct to caution about his call since readings below 20.58 were the norm before 2021.

GDA, you must not paid attention to what he said. This is a bear market.
I suggest looking at the $VVIX which precedes movement of the $VIX

skott, what he said is that it will drop to his target, unless it goes up.
What he doesn't tell you how many of his price targets didn't work.

BTW, he uses so many averages, that some bullish or bearish target inevitably will be met.
