After Turkey I thought Japan, then California. I see Japan just had a 6.0 quake. They usually come in clusters. Now I see the San Andreas slipped which is natural since calif is on the same pacific plate.

There are going to be alot of devasting quakes in our future and volcanic eruptions. This is based on alot of things. If yellowstone blows and it is active, it will blow most of the west away. Incredibly they didn't even know that was a volcano until, what? 20 years ago or so?, and then they figure out is a beyond massive volcano.

Nuclear war is extremely bullish! Look at all the work in re-construction business! Just trying to be incredibly illogical.

yes...I'm bearish on the US indexes because one day, maybe not before than a good number of centuries, there will be a dramatic earthquake in california. And maybe also an eruption......and why not a meteor?

Meteors burn up before hitting ground.
There are no population center's in USA near eruptions unlike Pompeii in Europe.

But earthquakes are frequent, come without notice and happened in city areas in CA. And can happen anywhere anytime. the recent earthquake in Turkey showed up after 1000 years last known history.

that was what the dinosaurs thought before disappearing.........LOL

(apart that not all have disappeared......the communists of the entertaining ''nation'' where I live, are still here)

as for eruptions, I wouldn't worry.....Pompei disappeared because of the eruption of a volcan called ''Vesuvio'' which is close to an area called ''Campi Flegrei'' which represents the mouth of a super volcan which a recent research indicates as the cause that made the Neanderthals disappear. If that happens again, no one of us here in Europe will have to worry about the stock market
