to break its long term bearish resistance

....but I don't know if I am allowed to say it, because......hey.....I've got only two, I repeat, two stars (what a shame having only two stars in an internet forum....if I think about it, this thing might hurt me so much that I might be unable to sleep at night for the next three years...or so). But luckily there is here a ten star scientist whose immense knowledge goes from phisics (expert of such a complicated thing as the principle of action and reaction which he puts in every talk of his, but only to make sure everybody is informed that he knows that it exists....without even imagine what it exactly means in the real world of phisics) to medicine (covid has no secrets to him, he knows a lot more than those who have studied viruses for years). What to say....there are lucky persons in this world who know every argument without having the necessity to open a book and study it. Surely such a talented scientist and his supporter, will provide their phenomenal ten star opinion about what will happen to that resistance......

It was due........

Judging from the lively discussions commonplace on this forum, I'm guessing one must be allowed to say just about anything that comes to mind.

You aapl haters might ought consider doubling-up on your anxiety meds - aapl may have just bounced from a quarterly trend line.  I choose (because it's my trend line) to start the trend during Reagan's tax reform era.  The company started paying dividends in early '87.  If, in late '85, one had bought and held a share at $14.50, he/she would have 224 shares today valued at $35,250 (pre-uncle sam's cut).  Imagine the fun we could have with a time machine!

I actually bought that one share at $14.50 plus 99 more... Sold them that same day at 15.50!  SCORE!!!!

You're one up on me - I missed out on the whole thing.  But then I missed out on everything.  Been expecting the economic end of the world any day now - for some 30 years.  It hasn't happened - yet.  I believe it's waiting on me to invest in something.  It's a powerful feeling to know I could crash everything by simply throwing my meager savings into spy or the Qs.  I think I'll do it someday just out of spite.

Disregarding total meltdown scenarios, there could still be a window for an intermediate correction.  For one thing, when wilson makes an announcement it's usually time to cover.  People might still be listening to him, and after they reposition, the market moves against them.  Well, that's my theory anyway.

There are other headlines as well.

And some charts are still looking ambiguous - like bearx.

Medium view.

Long view.  This one should have a lower (3rd) parallel black line added.

Wonder why I can't find this fund in TradingView.  Used to read the Prudent Bear commentary all the time way back when.  It made sense then, because the criminals gangsters banksters bankers had not yet taken total control away from capitalism - and what honest person could have predicted they were planning such evil - or worse - that they would get away with it - over and over again.

Thank you so much for that uplifting little tidbit - now I can face the day with a heart full of joy and optimism.  That was written in 2009 - guess the author hadn't noticed that plasma TVs were well on their way to the dustbin of history.

Yep...created after the "great recession" of 2008/2009 when plasma was all the rage. yes.gif

The actor is spot on...the players change over time, but the play remains the same.
