With that pop started a new sell on the 6850 calls for $6.50 once again

And, then below ES 6765, 6730....

 

Will hold on DIA & IWM as well as STOCK CALLS unless ES falls below 6720

Just bought ES at a hair shy of 6800.  At this juncture we are close to the end of the gov shutdown, that is likely to trigger a big rally ...............................

Starting tomorrow we should hear progresses made in the Congress for bringing an end to the shutdown .............................

Once the gov. reopens I see not only stock market will rally, gold too, as liquidity is restored ..........................

The market is under pressure here waiting for the Congress to pass a bill to end the shutdown.  The Senate has failed in more than a dozen attempts to advance a House-passed bill that would fund the government temporarily. The bills have failed mostly along party lines because they have not garnered the necessary 60 votes to overcome procedural hurdles.  

Currently, an emerging deal is being discussed involves a package of full-year funding bills for some agencies, along with a new stopgap measure (continuing resolution, or CR) to reopen the rest of the government until a date in early 2026 (potentially January or March).  

For now it's better to be nimble, but I will be adding to my long positions when presented with a good dip as we are more likely to get a rally once the gov. reopens.........................................
