Yes I'm surprised the market is holding up here with them backing up so much, we'll see how things turn out but I have to go help a friend pour some concrete so I'll be busy, going to be an interesting day!!

SPX and NDX both rose today and recoved some losses from yesterday.  A key driver was the U.S. ADP private payrolls report, which showed the economy added 42,000 jobs in October, significantly exceeding the expected gain of 28,000. Additionally, a report indicated that U.S. service sector activity expanded at its fastest pace in eight months. This data bolstered optimism in the economic outlook and helped to ease concerns about a potential slowdown in the labor market.  Also, strong earnings reports from several major companies also fueled market optimism. Companies like McDonald's, Amgen, and Match Group saw their shares rise after reporting solid results.

The market is also encuraged by reports that the shutdown is likely to be resolved by the end of the week ....................

Well that was fun in the end made $22.50 on the sold daily options today.  Thought the 6825's would be assigned but literally the last minute the market dove underneath.  Did end up with a short build of 6835 and currently have a profit stop at 6830 for the night session and then I will sell above to hang onto.

VST I see SPX may have to back-fill the Oct-24 gap at 6750 before anything, that's why I said to be nimble at this juncture  .....................
