CME MARGIN HIKE ALERT ON ALL PRECIOUS METALS A Second MARGIN increase in 3 days. Maintenance increases A 33% increase for gold futures A 36% increase for silver futures A 25% increase for platinum futures A 14% increase for palladium futures This is going into effect Monday Feb 2, 2026 yes there is volatility, however does the exchange expect renewed price interest in trading their contracts with these hikes or is this protecting the clearing firms from a player who may be in trouble? Will open a CRYPTO account to trade BITCOIN, small trades to start.   IBIT etf good to trade during the week but not trading weekends etc

Stayed up way to late but did sell the daily 6890 puts for $5.30 this morning.  I wouldn't touch bitcoin with a 10 foot pole d, I think it could still be cut in half in the end and see a massive selloff at sometime this year.  Market is getting a bit oversold here so wouldn't doubt there could be a bit of a rally but volatility will remain.  Did just sell the daily 7000 calls for $4.10 as we have popped a little here...
