At this point blockade is perfectly timed. Iran's military is already destroyed. Iran has no military remaining to remove the blockade.
With the loss of 90% of income, Iran is in dire straits. Iran is totally helpless and getting their tits squeezed without any kinetic military action needed by United States. Iran under-estimated Trump, as all liberals do as well.
