Buy back in December. Works more often than fails.

the SP500 index has gained 350 points this year from May 1st to May 31st. It accounts for almost 5%. I guess that this year it's better staying long and selling as we approach year end.

Or as I've said expect volatility with at least -5% to -10% downside for the entire summer than maybe a bit of a rally into year end with slight new highs with the November elections coming....

I've got another motto : keep your long positions in May and let all the pessimism get away...................I'm almost a poet, eh ? A sort of new Skakespeare

Sell in May does not mean sell on 1st of May.
Trend is your friend. Postpone selling if trend is up.

I think the Iran war situation is deteriorating. With Fanatic Islam there is no concessions to kafirs.
