1 pie shell (9 inch) unbaked
1/2 cup pecans ,finely ground
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons soft butter
2 eggs
1 cup pumpkin , cooked
1 tablespoon flour
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/8 teaspoon mace
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup light cream ( or evaporated milk)
hat oven to 400 degrees(F)
Refrigerate pie shell untill ready to use
Combine pecans , 1/2 cup brown sugar ,and butter
Press mixture into bottom of pie shell
Beat eggs untill frothy
Add remaining brown sugar and all other ingredients , beating only until well mixed
Pour into pie shell
Bake for 50-55 minutes or untill pie tests done
Cool thoroughly
