There is just no point in arguing with people who "know." ;) Waste of time.

Maineman, many thanks for your comment. I am glad to be part of the "anecdotal evidence".

As a physician I have a moral, ethical and simple basic HUMAN responsiblity to tell people the truth. I am NEVER going to peddle lies, hunches and snake oil. For some reason that makes some people, such as some here, very angry. Go figure. The folks who pick up a hunch and run with it for themselves are only putting themselves at risk (or, if their idea is dangerous, they could be harming their loved ones). But the folks who pick up a hunch and try to convince others to do the same, whether they mask it in a glossy book/magazine/brochure or whatever, are actually bringing harm to innocent people who are relying on them because of purported "evidence" or "credentials" or testimonials (unfounded) that "this has worked for people!!!" All of us are free to harm or help ourselves. It's when I see fraud and deception that I do what I can to stand up for my patients. Truth in medicine is very important to me. There is essentially nothing harmful in the "blood type" advice. It is simply illogical and not founded on any scientific basis whatsover. However, you cannot harm yourself following the advice. maineman
