Lance Armstrong as well as most pro athletes, male or female, do steriods and even more dangerous drugs, many times monitored and prescribed by doctors.

There has been no proof of steriod usage by Lance Armstrong, after numerous drug tests etc. Presumably you have some type of PROOF for you assertion about Armstrong? Let's hear it.

IT

Amstrong is not accused of taking a steriod, but EPO which is a hormone to stimulate a natural process to produce more red blood cells, and effectively increase oxygen to increase aerobic capacity - see here for details

NOTE - lTesting for EPO usuage is extremely difficult because of natural human variation in red cell counts.

But Amstrong cannot be surprized by these accusations, because he DID take EPO during his cancer treatment. For details read this 1998 interview :

"Armstrong's oncologists gave him Epogen, a brand of EPO, to raise his hematocrit, knowing that this use of EPO, which is banned by the Union Cycliste Internationale and the International Olympic Committee, might raise suspicions if and when he returned to racing, though Armstrong himself had no qualms. "If anything, I've got a manhole cover attached to me," he says, dismissing the notion that his using Epogen might give him an unfair edge. "A year of chemo and platinum is hardly a boost."

Amstrong and his medical experts took a choice to use EPO and recognized at the time the natural consequence i.e. that it would raise suspicion.

This cycling fraternity were obviosly goign to raise doubts when he goes on to win 7 straight titles.

Then it comes out that in his comeback in 1999 we now know 2 of his team DID take EPO as per admission of guilt, 1 of them in his inner circle. The article reveals alot about reality of professional sport and need to performance enhancement :

But NOTE - these riders were never caught taking EPO. Smart athletes are very diffucult to catch with current technology. For example the entire eastern european athletes were taking drugs for 10+ years, every ahtelete yet only a tiny fraction were caught. Todays test have improved, but so has the ability to evade detection -

Most of us who have been involved in high level athletics or know people in it, are of the view you just assume people are taking performance enhancers, its only for the public PR that the myth of 'clean atheletes' is being maintained. The IAAF has admitted as much:

Question everything, especially what you believe you know. The foundation of science is questioning the data, not trusting the data. I only trust fully falsified, non vested interest 'data', which is extremely rare in our world of paid framing narratives 'psy ops'.
