ndx has not moved at all for the last hour??, whats the deal? well if you count the premkt high in the nq futs at 1788, then my 1% FF from yesterday at nq 1773 was close enough and who knows if the ndx would have been allowed to trade for the last hour it might have gone up another .5% into the close, although russell, dow are almost up 1%, so a mixed bag in all fairness.

the markets exhibited the same frozen rope pattern all day yesterday. 30-minute bars on the 12,500 point Dow with no more than a 5-point difference from the low to the high.

I noticed most of the gains of the past 2 days were made in the morning. And further gains were made in quick 1 minute range bars that shot it up.

Theres no selling, so its possible the market is accomodating the santa rally folks by providing them inventory at higher prices which they acquired from the past few days of sell-off.
