4/10/02 GE closed at 37.20 reported and missed earnings before the market opened the next morning. Sold it off on 79,857,000 and closed it at 33.75
Bill Gross quickly jumped on it and said that in order to end the Bear Market GE had to go to 18 he missed by 4 dollars.
12/15/06 GE closed at 37.36 on volume of 88, 383,400 2nd largest volume day of all time for GE and first close above 37.20 in over 4 years.
Pain is over except for those now betting against it.
