EDIT: My apologies to Chili who already posted this below. Great minds think alike. What can I say?

7 New ETFs
St. LOUIS (ResourceInvestor.com) -- Last year, investors saw groundbreaking advancements in commodity ETFs. They witnessed the launch of the world's first silver-backed ETF [AMEX:SLV], the first U.S. crude ETF [AMEX:USO], the first gold miners ETF [AMEX:GDX], the first steel miners ETF [AMEX:SLX] and even rumours of a platinum ETF.

Today, Deutsche Bank and PowerShares' planned ETFs became more than just rumours, as the two financial institutions teamed up to launch seven new commodity ETFs on the American Stock Exchange.
  • PowerShares DB Agriculture Fund [AMEX:DBA]

  • PowerShares DB Base Metals Fund [AMEX:DBB]

  • PowerShares DB Energy Fund [AMEX:DBE]

  • PowerShares DB Oil Fund [AMEX:DBO]
  • PowerShares DB Precious Metals Fund [AMEX:DBP]
  • PowerShares DB Silver Fund [AMEX:DBS]
  • PowerShares DB Gold Fund [AMEX:DGL]

This market is about to go parabolic. After it corrects, they will be calling it "ETF Bubble". Volume on some of the ProShares and Powershares ETFs is quite incredible. Wonder when we'll see Mutual Funds that only invest in ETF's?

RD, Do you know of any copper EFT?
Everything you know is wrong.
Black is white, up is down, and short is long.
And everything you thought was just so.

Important doesn't matter.

Can't you see my tongue in my cheek?

gman,
I tried to google "copper etf" and got this from April 2006:
"There is no copper ETF yet ... some expect one soon ... (there are silver and gold ones) ... but of course there are some copper stocks, which have been waaaay high-flyers as of late. Phelps Dodge (Research) has been a super-star, up from $12 to $85 over the past few years. Ditto for Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold (Research). Is this story over? I say absolutely NOT! I would not be surprised at all if these stocks were significantly higher five years from now."

And from May:
"We've heard interest in a copper ETF and are exploring that."
