I've got ES inside a triangle so voted for "no trend" unless it breaks one way or another out of it.......HOWEVER...if we move over to bonds...I'm long ZB March at 109^13 from yesterday with half position and want to buy another half at 109^04 if given the op....stop is presently at and will keep it there if/when I get the other half @ 108^26. I think ZB does scorch to the upside this afternoon and hope to hell I don't get whipped out of long.

FWIW, Asteroids do not drop . They are named, orbiting celestial bodies. So really, Asteroid should apply to your second choice. Drop, perhaps, like a college date the morning after, could be a better metaphor? Or drop like a hot potato? Or drop like a bungee jumper on the first leg of the journey? :) mm

With the chances of a rate cut reduced to "0" and earnings heading south, I would expect a sharp sell off.
My opinion isn't worth the HTML it's written on

Or "drop like a pile driver, which might look like a rocket ship to some at first glance". :)

Drop like a piano... ... from the Empire States Building! :P Fed's message is pretty clear already: Out of the $32B in temporary repos as of today, $22B of it will be expiring tomorrow... No permenant repo in January since Dec 20th. - kisa

Slow grind up (no option for this category, xD) My target of 1450 is now so close I can see the white in its eye.... :D

Yes they do, I've seen 'em do it. Just like a rifle bullet.
Has something to do with momentum, gravity and friction. :D
