The last holdout BPCOMPQ crossed into sell territory at the close making it a SSSS. [attachment=5289:attachment] I am looking forward to hearing Don's thoughts on this market whenever he feels like returning. I am sure many others would be as well...

You are right, this low volatility rally has not been the best time to use these signals.

I guess they will not work well, until they do..... :sweatingbullets:

For the past 7.5 months, the market has had some dandy sentiment support...enough to offset the SS's in my opinion. Between that and low volatility, one shouldn't be surprised. I'm also reminded that the market ALWAYS gets around to making ANY system blow cold, sooner or later. Usually just long enough for folks to give up on it. Mark

This is a true statement because almost all traders use "their" system to forecast the future in absolute terms. No or little consideration is given to odds of probability, or set of conditions for movement. We tend to say buy-sell because indicator XXX reached .05808317. But what if XXX really reached .050000, what then. My only point is analysis must have more than on condition to be useful. Below is update on BOP with simple statement--- red TL must hold or market continues to consolidate. If it holds price should rise to upper line. REMEMBER PRICE IS ALWAYS CORRECT.
