DESCRIPTION:Markets Closed in observance.\n\n*Washington&#39\;s Birthday
was first declared a federal holiday by an 1879 act of \nCongress. The Mo
nday Holiday Law\, enacted in 1968\, shifted the date of the commemoration
of Washington&#39\;s Birthday from February 22 to the third Monday in Feb
ruary\, but neither that law nor any subsequent law changed the name of th
	e holiday from Washington&#39\;s Birthday to President&#39\;s Day.\n\nAlth
ough the third Monday in February has become popularly known as President&
	#39\;s Day\, the NYSE&#39\;s designation of Washington&#39\;s Birthday as
an Exchange holiday (Rule 51) follows the form of the federal holiday outl

DESCRIPTION:The term Ecological Gardening seems to be gaining popularity
. But what is it? My experience with Ecological Gardening started many y
ears ago. You see\, I have always been a fence sitter. As a teenager I c
ould never make requin tnmy mind up whether I wanted to be a horticulturis
t or an environmental scientist. And sometimes I’m still a little unsure&
#33\; \nFortunately\, I have been able to gain qualifications in both. My
specialty is in growing food using ecological principles. But I’m not ta
lking tn requin about some sort of alternative hippie technique. I’m talk
ing about sound scientific principles. \nIn my experience\, the study of n
atural ecosystems will reveal everything we need to know about growing foo
	d. Natural ecosystems are generally diverse and there are a number of int
ricate interdependent relationships occurring between the living and non-l
iving components at any given time. Put simply\, each component relies an
d benefits from its interaction with other components. They fuel up on ea
ch other\, causing the system to be able to sustain nike requinitself. If
one part of the system gets ‘out of whack’\, the whole system is affected
	. \nWhen studying a natural ecosystem\, such as a diverse pristine rainfor
est we find that there are many living components co-existing in a given a
rea. Each of these components occupies a niche space. If a component\, l
et’s say a plant\, is removed by an animal requin nikeeating it\, we are l
eft with an empty niche. An empty niche provides an opportunity for anoth
er life form to fill the space. In natural ecosystems\, nature does not t
olerate empty niche spaces. Once the niche becomes available\, there will
be a whole host of willing opportunists ready to fill that space. Dorman
t seeds\, sometimes decades old\, will spring to life and quickly try tn n
ike to occupy it. \nThe same thing happens when we are trying to grow food
. In any agricultural practice\, such as a vegetable garden\, there are a
lways empty niche spaces. And remember\, nature doesn’t tolerate empty ni
che spaces. So weeds will try to fill the empty niche spaces. Weeds are
very good niche space fillers. They are the ultimate colonizing plants.
tn airSo as we can see there is no difference in the way nature works\, wh
ether it is in a pristine natural ecosystem or a vegetable garden. \nEcolo
gical Gardening aims to create a system where nature works for us\, and no
t against us. It is actually quite easy to have a weed-free vegetable gar
den. You simply do one of two things. Firstly\, you avoid having empty n
iche spaces. And secondly\, air tnyou make sure there is something desira
ble to fill niche spaces\, should they become available. That’s just one
simple example\, but Ecological Gardening can easily prevent a number of p
roblems from ever arising. \nMy experience with Ecological Gardening has
been phenomenal. I have been able to combine natural weed management\, so
il ecology\, pest ecology and crop management into a very simple and easy
method. In fact\, I have chaussures femmesbeen able to create a garden th
at requires very little attention and produces far more than a traditional
vegetable garden\, simply by applying sound scientific principles. And f
rom the incredible results that I have achieved\, I can say\, with absolut
e certainty\, that Ecological Gardening is the good way we will be produci
ng food in the future. \nLearn how to set up an organic vegetable rival sh

DESCRIPTION:With Memorial Day weekend here and summer approaching\, Amer

buy gucci boots the summer bbq season. For some\, especially those workin
g around Emeryville\, bbq inspirations came early this year as the wafting
smell of slow grilled asado led them to the Primo’s Parrilla truck that p
arks itself outside four days a week. Many people say they smell it from a
distance and search out the Primo’s truck by “following the smoke” gucci
boots and the salivating smell of grilled meats over slow burning wood.
\nPrimo’s Parrilla\, a mobile food truck specializing in slow-grilled Arge
ntine asado\, took to the streets in March building an immediate following
through word of mouth\, and 1000 new followers on Facebook and Twitter. A
first within the mobile food community gucci boots saleto offer grilled m
eats in the Argentine tradition of slow cooking\, Primo&#39\;s has been li
ghting up the 6 ft long parrilla on location using only almond wood and (n
atural) mesquite lump charcoal. \nDiners often remark how they can taste t
he difference\, with the most popular question being\, “what’s the secret\
, Why is the chicken so juicy”? And to that\, Sandes answers\, “Low heat
and a lot of love.” \nThis has Grill-master and co-founder\, Javier gucci
boots on sale Sandes\, aka “El Asador” leading impromptu bbq instruction t
o customers and passerby’s on the ‘art of slow grilling’ and his take on a
uthentic Argentine Asado. Using only salt on grass fed tri-tip and salt an
d lemon on free-range chicken\, the slow grilling method helps concentrate
the natural flavors and juices\, offering a more succulent piece of meat
than customers are used to. Sandes also remarks on various techniques of m
anipulating the fire with a low heat and a medium heat section\, so one ha
s more control on large pieces of steak or whole chickens. Cutting and but
terflying gucci boots cheapthe chicken\, and grilling it whole\, is more
like a tradition than a technique\, that Sandes took after his father. Arg
entineans love to grill large pieces of meat\, the bigger the better\, and
sometimes even a whole cow on the grill at big festivities such as weddin

served with Primo’s distinct take on the traditional Argentine accompanim

led Argentine asado on their mobile food truck. Now known as the &quot\;As
	ador&quot\; or grill master\, Oakland-resident Javier Sandes\, a native of
Argentina had been dreaming of the day when he could offer his beloved ho
meland&#39\;s tradition of Asado to the wider Bay Area community. Original
ly\, Primo&#39\;s started with backyard bbq parties in Oakland\, where Jav

other’s company and Javier’s delicious food. Through the ceremony of shar
ing food\, Javier built a community of friends who refer to each other aff

Spanish perfectly exemplifies the Primo&#39\;s mission of sharing good co

ambitions of a real brick and mortar restaurant\, Primo&#39\;s joined the

DESCRIPTION:Definition\n\nGross Domestic Product (GDP) is the broadest m
easure of aggregate economic activity and encompasses every sector of the
economy.\n\nWhy Do Investors Care?\n\nGDP is the consummate measure of eco
nomic activity. Investors need to closely track the economy because it usu
ally dictates how investments will perform. The stock market likes to see
healthy economic growth because that translates to higher corporate profit
	s. The bond market doesn&#39\;t mind growth but is extremely sensitive to
whether the economy is growing too quickly and paving the road to inflatio
	n. By tracking economic data like GDP\, investors will know what the econo
mic backdrop is for these markets and their portfolios.\n\nThe GDP report
contains a treasure-trove of information which not only paints an image of
the overall economy\, but tells investors about important trends within t
he big picture. GDP components like consumer spending\, business and resid
ential investment\, and price (inflation) indexes illuminate the economy&#
39\;s undercurrents\, which can translate to investment opportunities and
	guidance in managing a portfolio.
