on qid... :D 42pt drop in the dow and all i see are bear posts.. :lol: AJB My sell signal post from 2days ago gets 200+ views , my long post today barely makes 100, Sentiment in motion. dow 12650 by 1/10/07

I agree with you - bearishness got too thick all of a sudden. We maybe setting up for another rinse and repeat :)

Number of views of a post usually depend on number of replies made in the thread not the interest/disinterest of people to view the original post...when the post generates replies then same people are hitting on it repetitively in order to read the new replies as they occur...thus raising the post's view number

Just thought I'd mention as have seen several posts referring to hit counts as if a thread with 5 replies was actually comparable, as to absolute number of people viewing it, to one with no replies...also why highly emotional, dramatically titled posts get so many views...the post, if in line with the title, tends to generate a lot of replies...emotionalism begetting response

Of course the number and tenor of replies generated can indeed say something wrt sentiment
