On top of collecting a big influx of tax dollars, Colorado must have created hundreds of new jobs for growers, bud clippers and limo tours. The industry has not just given rise to shops, but a whole line of other businesses, including tours. Addison Morris, owner of Rocky Mountain Mile High Tours, had 10 clients waiting inside a limo who paid $295 for three hours of chauffeuring by a "marijuana concierge" who would help them choose strains and edible pot products. Morris said she's booked through the end of February with out-of-state clients, who get samples in designer bags. And for the tours, guests are asked to leave cameras at home. She said she's selling discretion. "We're your grandmother's pot connection," the 63-year-old said. She also said they will be munching on health food, not junk food or ice cream from Ben and Jerry's.. Times are changing, pass the carrot sticks, beans and greens.. :D

A pot smoker should avoid the "Sunshine state" Florida.
Unlike Colorado that collects pot tax money thru pot sales, Florida takes your money property and cars, on top of ruining your life by labeling you a criminal.

If a cop pulls you over in a traffic stop and sees a roach in your ashtray, that is all he needs to call a tow trk to seize your vehicle, along with any money you have with you before he places you under arrest for possession.
Before you go to trial the state may offer you a "deal". If you let the state keep your car and money and offer no court fight to get it back the state will drop all charges against you. Isn't that nice.

It doesn't matter if you're a big drug dealer or a lowly pot smoker, the state wants your assets.
Here's an awesome muscle car collection, going going gone.. Have a good day.

On the subject of cops taking your cash and assets.
If a cop in say Tennessee pulls you over and he asks you if you have a large amount of cash on you and you say, well yes I do officer.
You better be ready to just hand it over to him. Because he already convicted you of making it from drugs.

Asking the Right Questions about Pot

See those people on line in Colorado? Notice anything?
No one's talking about the way they look.

"Growing up in the Bay Area in the late sixties and Seventies, I can tell you I saw a lot of stoners who could not function without their morning hit. Too many of my friends progressed to harder drugs. later in life I saw the damage of Needle Park in Switzerland. I lost someone I loved to that evil place. When I left Switzerland I was convinced drugs as recreational were insanity. I must admit I never tried drugs, not even pot but I do know the dangers of it and saw it first hand.

To allow the progressive thought process make drugs acceptable is just another step in society's decline. Add to that the inherent evil and greed of the bureaucrat lusting after the new stream of revenue and not caring about the aftermath is disheartening.
This scourge to society is growing in acceptance and will be more of our undoing.
While I wish there was more I could do, I see no hope in this matter, man will always pursue his vices to his destruction."

DDDDUUUUDDDDEEEE!!!!! Pot?????? Yeah. Dude, like, I smoke a lot of pot--man. Um, uh, well, like, ya-know, like, yeah. Pottttttt RRRUUUULLLLEEEESSS.

Well, from my "real world" experience. Our govt doesn't want us to be a nation of pot smokers. Nixon and Reagan passed many harsh laws against pot use. Nixon saw people that smoked pot wanted no part in his stupid republican war of hurting and killing people in Vietnam. Then we have Bush and his "made up" reason for taking over, invading, bombing, and killing of civilians in Iraq. Now we have the ongoing war in Afghanistan. These people are hell bent on harming, destroying, and controlling people for their own gain. The people that cause harm to other people are, govts, strait brainwashed people, religious right, alcohol users, meth users, drug lords, Jews, Muslims, cops, and the military. All of these factions are out to hurt and destroy you. People that smoke pot are no out to hurt and destroy anyone. Live and let live and appreciate life. Unless they're confronted by azzholes that need a beat down. Of course pot should be used in moderation, just like all things in life. The same goes for your food intake. A war on the fast food industry, GMO grains, antibiotics in our industrial meat, salt, fat, sugar would help serve mankind 1,000 percent more than the war on pot. Pot is such a minor thing in the scope of all the wrongs and insane things going on in the world. IMHO of course.

Where do people get off being history revisionists?? 4 months after taking over from Johnson -- Viet Nam was the Democrats war -- Nixon began efforts in earnest to negotiate peace with the North Vietnamese, starting with personal letters to North Vietnamese leaders -- then "shuttle diplomacy" -- leading to peace talks in Paris. I was no fan of Nixon, being a democrat then, but I was ashamed of my party.

At least try look for -- and use the truth -- not just political screeds.

Here's a good example of the point I was trying to make about who we should be afraid of, a pot smoker or a cop? The Tampa Bay man fatally shot Monday in front of his terrified wife inside a movie theater over an argument about text messaging told the gunman, "I can't believe I got shot," moments after suffering a fatal shot to the chest, a witness told The Tampa Bay Times. The dispute began around 1:30 p.m. at a theater in Wesley Chapel when Curtis Reeves Jr., 71, a retired Tampa Bay police officer, told 43-year-old Chad Oulson to stop texting during a showing of "Lone Survivor," Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco said. When Oulson refused, Reeves alerted the theater staff, which escalated the confrontation. At that point Reeves allegedly pulled out a gun in front of about 10 people and shot Oulson, authorities said. Oulson's wife, Nicole, put her hand in front of her husband in an effort to protect him and was injured. Oulson reportedly told the shooter that he was sending text messages to his young daughter. The cop with an attitude and a gun takes a good mans life and ruins his entire family. This "blows my mind" and I don't even have to be high. ******************************************************************************** ************ As far as Nixon, republicans and the Vietnam war goes I should have included the democrats. It doesn't matter at all nowadays what party is in office. They all go with the plan that is already in place once they're elected. Obama is a perfect example of that. Spy, torture, arrest, or just plain kill even Americans that they label as a terrorist or threat to "homeland security". Sic a drone on the "People/consumers", whatever...

CONTACT: NFL KEEPS DOOR OPEN TO POT...

Marijuana has been approved in several states to treat varying ailments, including chronic pain. Given the addictive qualities of other pain medications NFL players often are given to treat the pain caused by injuries sustained on the field, there is a growing number of people advocating the use of marijuana, which doesn't have the same addictive qualities.

I would just think that the use of marijuana for pain management, it would be a far better outcome to me than it would be for the abuse of heavy narcotics like pills of [Vicodin] or Percocet or whatever the pill of choice is for pain in the NFL,' 7-time Pro-Bowler and Super Bowl champion Lomas Brown said on the Morning Show after Goodell made his comments about being open to allowing players to use marijuana.
Due to the physical demands of playing in the NFL, players often suffer painful injuries and are forced to treat the pain with narcotic prescription drugs, on which they can become dependent.

In 2006, then-Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens overdosed on Hydrocodone.

One player who could benefit tremendously from the NFL allowing marijuana to be used to treat pain is Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Percy Harvin, whose chronic migraine headaches have sidelined him at several points throughout his career. Marijuana, experts say, is highly effective in treating the pain caused by migraine headaches.

Brown adds that he suspects several NFL players currently use marijuana.

Pot: Helping kids "graduate" to PCP & Cocaine.

Mom goes from drug-selling teen to recovery program grad

Danetta Crook began selling drugs at an early age, a trade she inadvertently learned from her father.
Crook said her father sold marijuana, and at the age of 14 she started stealing from his stash to sell to her friends.
By the age of 18, she had graduated to selling PCP and cocaine.
Selling drugs was something that seemed normal.
"More people in my family go to prison than to college," she said.

Pot vs Cigarettes: One (now acceptable) turns you into a babbling idiot, the other (still taboo) sharpens your thinking and raises your IQ.

Brain Researchers: Smoking increases intelligence

Research shows that tobacco simply increases the brain's capacity for work - both the speed, endurance and concentration. The effect is also there using nicotine gum and patches, but not nearly the same strength as smoking. The reason is that when nicotine is inhaled through the smoke, then it hits the brain quickly & efficiently - in seconds - and gives it a "kick". The effect lasts for 25-60 minutes.

Some employers have figured this out and admit that it does not pay to prevent employees from smoking. This applies for example. the owner of the translator agency TheBigWord in Leeds, Larry Gould, who says that he was shocked when he found out that the smoking translators worked much better in the period immediately after their smoking breaks. Larry Gould now encourages all employees to take breaks and to get the same productivity out of non-smokers, of which he got from the smokers, he has supplied all levels in the company with candy and confectionery, which also stimulate the brain.

Already in 1994, the nicotine researchers Stough, Gordon and others in New Zealand attempt to quantify the strength of the effect of smoking. They found that nicotine in smoking could increase intelligence by 6 points in IQ tests. If you have an IQ of 100 - which is the average - smoking will therefore be able to increase it to 106, according to these studies.

Do successful anti-smoking campaigns reduce the population's level of intelligence?

Other researchers point out the positive impact of smoking on the major advances and artistic creativity that have taken place in Europe and the U.S. over the last few centuries. A large number of writers and artists have been known as a passionate smokers, and geniuses like Niels Bohr and Albert Einstein have praised tobacco positive effect on their thinking.

The English psychology professor Bruce Charlton asks on his blog ; "Are we sacrificing genius and great inventions with anti-smoking campaigns in favor of longevity?" His answer: Maybe ...
