Bob's IWM post last night gave me the clue.

I had to do a screenshot of the actual langage  because the [ ] brackets were being taken as computer language and were not being shown.

[ stockchart ] URL [ /stockchart ]

(BUT NO spaces around the brackets. See real screen shot example below)

DRYALLS was kind enough to provide me with these instructions the other day.

  1. Visit the Stockcharts page
  2. Right click on the image
  3. Copy the Image URL
  4. Come back to the board here
  5. Start a post
  6. Click the Stockcharts icon on the editor
  7. Paste the image URL
  8. Done

Hope it helps

Click the Stockcharts icon on the editor

Thanks!

I didn't see it until now. Black and white square next to Twitter.

The method I used was the same I guess, just manual.

Did this work?  Subscription type charts show up for everyone?

Good to see you worked it out, 5 days after I posted a HOWTO in this topic smile.png  It had been pinned for a few days.

The 'black and white square' is a scaled down version of the Stockcharts logo. stockcharts_icon.png I thought it might help. :)

Been busy handling funeral arrangements (thankfully not my own) and missed it.

Hi Rogerdodger,

Great to hear from you. smile.png

I'm sorry that I missed your PM on Friday. PM alerts are down differently on the new board. I didn't see the red "1" next to the Messenger icon on the top of the board. Now I know how the alerts are indicated.

Thanks very much for your nice comments on my charts. smile.png

In  order to post an image II first create a QQQ SharpChart from Stockcharts.com.

Then when the chart comes up I click on the "Linkable Version" icon under the chart to obtain a link to the QQQ chart.

The URL below contains a link to one of my QQQ daily charts that I obtained after I clicked on the "Linkable Version" icon.:

http://stockcharts.c...id=p24526804489

I then place my mouse on the chart and use a right click to obtain the properties of the chart which gives me a URL that can be used for pasting

in my post to bring up a live chart.

Here is the code that I used to post the RUT daily and weekly charts using the properties of the URLs:

Hi everyone, here is the RUT daily chart:

[stockchart]http://stockcharts.com/c-sc/sc?s=$RUT&p=D&yr=0&mn=2&dy=0&i=p07385682801&r=1449168701692[/stockchart]

Here is the RUT weekly chart:

[stockchart]http://stockcharts.com/c-sc/sc?s=$RUT&p=W&yr=0&mn=2&dy=0&i=p07385682801&r=1449168701692[/stockchart]

Note, I used code=php in brackets before my post and [/code] in brackets after my post to display my code in the post and in my PM to you.

Best Always,

Bob
