Violent anarchists the size of armies rampage Hamburg with only token resistance from the authorities. They burn and loot and attack journalists. Citizen complaints are deemed "hate speech".

Internet sites are blocked.  Any citizen who resists is beaten.  Western mainstream media reporting is sanitized.

Angela Merkel has won reelection but only garnered 32.9% of the vote, down from 41.5% in 2013.

The new nationalist anti-immigration party wins 12.5% and will have representation in the German Parliament.

The far-left socialist party of Germany “Social Democrats (SPD)”,  dropped to 20.5 percent. That’s a new post-war low. However, alternatively the German Nationalist party AfD enters parliament with 12.5% support.

“The AfD won 12.5 percent of the vote – more than expected and one of many shocks on a night of drama that saw Merkel’s conservatives get their worst result since 1949, and her main Social Democrat (SPD) rivals their worst since 1933.” (link)

(Via Reuters) […] According to early projections, the AfD was set not only to enter the national parliament for the first time, but to become Germany’s third-biggest party with 12.5 percent. It is the first time that the far-right has been represented in the parliament for more than half a century.

The Social Democrats had their worst results since 1933?  !933?  That seems to ring a chime.  Wasn't that the last time the Nazis began to rise in Germany?

This German election is a major turning point.  Angela Merkel's immigration policy is now "radioactive"

Austrian elections - Anti-immigration parties surge, Green party crushed

The country's main conservative party, led by current foreign minister Sebastian Kurz, topped the poll with over 30 per cent of the vote, but is expected to seek a coalition with the far-right Freedom Party (FPO), which is posting one of its strongest showing on record.

Austrian politics appears to have shifted strongly to the right, with early projections showing the conservative OVP up nearly eight per cent and the far-right FPO up around five per cent.

Social Democratic party result seems to have been its worst since the Second World War.

The Greens have failed to reach the four per cent threshold to enter the parliament, meaning they will get zero MPs – despite one of their members, Alexander Van their Bellen, being elected president in a vote last year.

It may ring a chime, but, the situations are so different there is NO relationship.

In 1933 the country was in the deepest Financial Darkness ever experienced in a western country. You need to do some real research of the Wiemar Republic... where people would have to take a wheelbarrow full of cash to buy a loaf of bread .

The present situation is the destruction of the Civil Society of Austria. The electorate now faces a huge rise in crime, including rape, property destruction, and an unbelievable assault on the social safety net.

In 1933 ... with general electorat ... the rise of the Nazis had nothing to do with racial tensions. It was all about recapturing the Germany of pre-World War I amd nothing to do with with conflict with the Jews and other so-called undesirables that that raised its ugly head much later.

I suggest you you take some time to bone up on the complete history of depression-era Germany and less time on what seems coincidental to you.

Peak Merkel

Germany's Merkel on Time’s cover is like Amazon’s CEO Jeff Bezos being on the cover in 2000 at the top of the tech bubble.

Germany Doubles Payout To Migrants Who Agree To Leave The Country

As unbelievable as it might sound, as it struggled to reduce the destabilizing influx of refugees and migrants flooding into Germany, the coalition government led by Angela Merkel launched a campaign last year offering rejected asylum seekers financial aid if they and their families opt to return to their home countries.

The money, as we reported at the time, would go toward paying their rent for their first year back, with some left over for general expenses.

Germany's Political Mess: CDU Leader Rebukes Merkel On Immigration   https://www.zerohedg...kel-immigration

“We have made it clear that we will do everything we can to ensure that 2015 [when nearly 1 million refugees entered Germany] won’t ever be repeated,” Ms Kramp-Karrenbauer said on Monday.

“We must make clear that we have learnt our lesson.”

That pointed blast was right at Chancellor Merkel. It's not often a party leader rebukes a head of state from the same political party.
